Here's a little information about what we here at Pleasant Homes do to support our Morinville Food Bank. 2011 will be the 5th Annual Garage Sale. ALL Proceeds go to the food bank. Pleasant Homes matches exact amount raised from donations from the sale.
The staff at Pleasant Homes enjoy a little bit of mayhem for a few weeks to support this cause. The office get so full, it gets harder and harder to move around. Especially closer to the date of the event. It is all worth it.
Fall is generally when the event takes place, around end of October. This is a crucial time for the food bank. They need as much support from local business and people, as possible.
Unfortunatley, there are starving families everywhere. Even in our great little town, Morinville.
We urge everyone and anyone to come out and help support this event. Bring your friends and family. Tell everyone you know. There is always a treaure or two for someone. There is always great items donated to the sale. You'd be surprised. There are actually many people that will come out both days of the sale to find a trinket or couch. Every Year more and more people are introduced to the awesome indoor garage sale Pleasant Homes has. People remember this great event because all proceeds go to a Local charity and the awesome deals and items you can find.
Every year more and more businesses within town find out about our sale. Many send amazing donations from their businesses. To name but a few, Thank you so much for your support, Highstreet Interiors for the wonderful truckload of items. Servus Credit Union, Morinville News, Castle Building Supplies, Home Hardware. Even the Morinville Helping Hand store donated some awesome trinkets. Many businesses, donate monetary amounts as well. Remember Pleasant Homes has to match the amount donated.

Garage sale beats expectations
Dale Dinsmore and Linda Ferguson of Pleasant Homes pose with some of the garage sale items that were available in their Fourth Annual Charity Garage Sale Friday afternoon.
The two-day event brought in $2,700 for the Morinville Food Bank Society,
a number that will be matched by Pleasant Homes,
bringing the total donation to $5,400.
After all the fun of preparing and cleaning up the two day garage sale. Pleasant Homes invited the Morinville Food Bank Society representatives come out and accept the Proceeds Donation cheque.
